Relais & Chateaux Thornbury Castle is seeking a Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Assistant to join our in-house 5* hotel team. You will support the kitchen operation, help with basic prep and keep areas clean to uphold high standards for guests.

This zero-hours contract includes evening and weekend shifts; training is provided and a strong team spirit is essential to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• Zero hours contract.
• Basic preparation of vegetables under supervision.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use the industrial dishwashers to clean crockery and utensils.
• Clean the Kitchen Areas following COSHH guidelines.
• Support the team and help colleagues where needed.

Relais & Chateaux at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Assistantto join our hard-working and professional 5* Hotel Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in the kitchen, creating memorable and impressive experiences for our guests.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

• Zero hours contract
• £12.71 per hour
• Will include evening and weekend shifts
• Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils
• Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines
• Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs
