Job summary

Somerset Larder, part of the South West Larder group, is hiring at the Hinkley Point C site for a full-time kitchen role. You will assist chefs, handle deliveries, and help maintain HACCP standards while contributing to our local, fresh-food mission.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Hold Food Safety Level 2 (or be able to achieve on appointment).
• Be honest and trustworthy.
• Able to work independently.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef in the preparation and cooking of food.
• Clean all equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.
• Take delivery of stock including food/provision, checking and accounting for items.
• Support cleaning, periodic cleaning and deep cleaning as required.
• Carry out tasks to support catering operation and waste management.
• Participate in HACCP team activities and ensure food safety standards.
