Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant for Marinero Lounge. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe and well organised, while supporting chefs with food prep during service. It’s a simple but vital role in delivering high‑quality meals on time.

Offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals and 50% off food & drinks from day one, with flexible/evening/weekend work and a clear path for career development across 300+ sites in England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliability: on time and team player.

• Understanding of cleanliness, safety, and consistency in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.
