Loungers plc is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant for Morlo Lounge. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs, and ensure service runs smoothly in a busy kitchen.

Offering up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one, this role suits someone who enjoys teamwork, fast pace, and pride in high standards across hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is helpful, but attitude and reliability matter.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Willingness to follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
• Strong team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.
