Job summary

Lounges are hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join Barranco Lounge, part of Loungers. The role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, safe and organized while supporting chefs with prep. It’s a busy, team-driven environment with a strong emphasis on service standards.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is helpful, but just as important is the right attitude and reliability.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.
