Job summary

Loungers plc, via Vivo Lounge, is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant. We offer up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift, and 50% off food & drinks from day one. This role supports a busy kitchen and helps maintain high standards.

Lounges operate across 300+ sites in England and Wales; you’ll work in a fast-moving kitchen with flexible hours, a friendly team, and development opportunities through our pathways and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is helpful, but the right attitude and reliability are key.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and consistent standards in the kitchen.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.
