Job summary

Lounges is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join Ormo Lounge, part of Loungers. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs, and ensure service runs smoothly while enjoying staff benefits from day one.

This role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, a free meal on every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. Flexible hours and opportunities to grow with a busy, friendly kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is helpful, but attitude and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.
