Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep kitchen operations smooth by cleaning and maintaining kitchenware, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware. You will support hygiene and safety standards in back-of-house areas and handle waste disposal.

You will also assist with cleaning schedules, replenishing stock, and maintaining inventory integrity during peak service times, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue.
• Reliable, friendly and a team player.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and sanitise all kitchen items in line with daily needs.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and organised kitchen workspaces and storage areas.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and keep areas clean throughout the shift.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies to UK standards (HACCP).
• Follow cleaning schedules and SOPs.
• Assist kitchen team by replenishing stock during peak service.
• Handle equipment to minimise breakages and maintain inventory.
• Replenish toiletries, towels and cleaning materials as required.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals.
