Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across back of house areas. This hands-on role keeps equipment, workspaces and service areas clean, safe, and ready for use during service.

You will work closely with chefs and the BOH team, assist with basic food prep when required and help ensure a steady supply of clean crockery and utensils. Prior BOH experience is desirable for this busy, event-led environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Desirable prior experience in a kitchen porter or BOH role.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen & BOH cleanliness across back of house areas.
• Wash and return crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service and assist with basic food prep as required.
