Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services Limited at Joie Stadium is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen clean and efficient, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food in a safe, hygienic environment.

Key duties include carrying out cleaning duties, following cleaning procedures and COSHH regulations, disposing of waste responsibly, and keeping back-of-house areas tidy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fast paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• To carry out all effective cleaning duties as instructed by the Sous Chef.
• To ensure that all correct dosages are followed in all cleaning procedures.
• That all COSHH regulations are met.
• Ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Empty bins regularly to prevent overflow and maintain a clean workspace.
• To ensure that all chemicals are stored and kept apart from all food production and kept in COSHH storeroom.
• To contribute to the building of staff relationships, morale and to take an active part in other colleagues welfare, safety and development.
