Job summary

Thistle London Heathrow is recruiting a dedicated kitchen porter to keep our kitchen moving smoothly. You’ll help wash, clean and support the team, with an hourly rate of £13.00 plus tron c under a flexible contract. This role is based on-site near Heathrow, with opportunities to grow in a busy hotel kitchen.

Located close to Longford, just off the Bath Road, Thistle Heathrow is an Airport hotel which delivers a warm welcome no matter how long or short the stay. It has 264 bedrooms and 14 meeting rooms, the largest one seating up to 700 people - meaning it is also an extremely popular local wedding venue. It is the only hotel that has direct access to Heathrow Terminal 5 by POD in just 5 minutes.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this key role, you will support our entire kitchen brigade, ensuring that every aspect of the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include keeping all areas clean and tidy, washing dishes, mopping floors, stacking and unpacking dishwashers, recycling, and addressing the basic health and safety needs of the kitchen environment. You may also assist with basic food preparation and storage, contributing to our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
