Job summary

Thistle London Heathrow is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen brigade in an airport hotel environment. You will keep all areas clean, wash dishes, mop floors, and assist with basic food storage and hygiene tasks.

We offer flexible contract terms and hourly pay of £13.00 per hour plus troncs. You’ll be part of a team focused on delivering warm hospitality to guests.

• Experience in basic kitchen duties is advantageous.

Located close to Longford, just off the Bath Road, Thistle Heathrow is an Airport hotel which delivers a warm welcome no matter how long or short the stay. It has 264 bedrooms and 14 meeting rooms, the largest one seating up to 700 people - meaning it is also an extremely popular local wedding venue. It is the only hotel that has direct access to Heathrow Terminal 5 by POD in just 5 minutes.

What you’ll be doing

In this key role, you will support our entire kitchen brigade, ensuring that every aspect of the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include keeping all areas clean and tidy, washing dishes, mopping floors, stacking and unpacking dishwashers, recycling, and addressing the basic health and safety needs of the kitchen environment. You may also assist with basic food preparation and storage, contributing to our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
