Job summary

William Strike Ltd. is seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter for our Brookside Garden Centre restaurant. You will support both FOH and BOH by ensuring a steady flow of clean crockery and equipment, with training in pot-wash safety and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Part Time ##employmenttype## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Brookside Garden Centre., As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

• Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins
• Take care to avoid breakages
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
• Passion high standards for cleanliness
• Understanding of food hygiene requirements
• Excellent communication skills.

• Shift flexibility including weekends.
• The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 14 per week Saturday & Sunday., Competitive rates of pay
