Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in customer service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas including countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks.
• Wash dishes, utensils and cooking equipment or load them into the dishwasher.
• Maintain clean and organized food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators.
• Receive and organise deliveries of food and supplies.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and ensure trash containers are clean.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, cutting and washing ingredients.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by taking on additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure cooking equipment like mixers and cookers are clean and in working order.
