Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott St Pierre Country Club in Wales is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant to support chefs and keep kitchen areas clean and organized. You will handle dishwashing, basic food prep, and assist with deliveries while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

The role involves 24 hours per week across 3 days including weekends, with early and late shifts. Previous customer service experience is valued and the company provides free meals on duty, uniform, and opportunities for

• At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
• Supervisory experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas including countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment or load them into the dishwasher.
• Maintain food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators, ensuring they are clean and organized.
• Receive and organise deliveries of food and supplies.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and ensure trash containers are clean.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks like peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by taking on additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure cooking equipment such as mixers and cookers are clean and in working order.
