Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott St Pierre Country Club in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated hospitality team member to join our kitchen and service staff. You will help clean and sanitise work areas, support chefs, and ensure guests receive warm, professional service that aligns with Marriott standards.

This role is 24 hours per week over 3 days, including weekends, with a mix of early and late shifts. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in customer service are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas including countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks.

• Receive and organise deliveries of food and supplies.
• Assist with basic food preparation and support chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure cooking equipment is clean and in working order.

Responsibilities:

Here's what your journey with us entails:

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areasincluding countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipmentor load them into the dishwasher.
• Maintain food storage areassuch as freezers and refrigerators, ensuring they are clean and organized.
• Receive and organise deliveriesof food and supplies.
• Dispose of kitchen wasteproperly and ensure trash containers are clean.
• Assist with basic food preparationtasks like peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients.
• Support chefs and kitchen staffby taking on additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure cooking equipmentsuch as mixers and cookers are clean and in working order.

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
