Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 12.75
Hours: 37.5 per week

A fabulous independent day school for boys and part of a large group of schools, located in the heart of Notting Hill, London. Catering for approximately 300 students and staff, the school offers lunch and mid-morning snacks, with some hospitality services at this location. This is a term-time only contract working 39.2 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at this prestigious London location.

Your role will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.

• Experience in pot wash duties is advantageous
• Great team player
• Assist chefs with food preparation
• Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Handle heavy catering equipment following instructions and using appropriate cleaning materials, including air filters and extraction systems
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential
• Strong organizational skills
• Good verbal English skills
• Basic written English and reading skills
• Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is a plus
