Job summary

Incipio Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen. You will be a vital support for our Chefs and team, handling washing, restocking, and station upkeep.

You’ll work in a busy kitchen, promoting hygiene and safety while assisting with basic food prep and deliveries. Join a team focused on great experiences and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean workstations, floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient prep.
• Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and comply with regulations.
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and sanitation rules.
• Restock kitchen supplies and keep utensils available.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods.

Our Kitchen Porters are the heart of the kitchen, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently. You play a vital support role for our Chefs and wider Team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE GETTING UP TO

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning kitchen workstations, floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
• Assisting with food preparation, such as peeling vegetables or preparing basic ingredients.
• Receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
• Ensuring cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Restocking kitchen supplies and ensuring utensils are readily available.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
