Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant team. You will work with the back of house, keeping the kitchen to high standards and supporting chefs during busy service.

This role offers evening shifts and opportunities for training and progression, including potential trainee pizza chef within months, plus excellent team environment and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we've teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie! What will I be doing?

• Working with the back of house team, maintaining the kitchen to high standards.

• Supporting the chefs during busy service.

• Keeping the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service.

• Cleaning utensils and dishes alongside general kitchen duties.

• Helping with preparing ingredients for the chefs to ensure a smooth and efficient service during peak periods.

• Adhering to health and safety procedures within the kitchen.

• An individual who is keen to learn new skills and progress.
