Job summary

Carluccio's Derby is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to keep our busy kitchen clean, safe and well‑organised, supporting chefs and frontline staff during service.

You’ll wash dishes, help with simple prep, manage waste and stock, and follow health and safety guidelines. We offer flexible hours, staff discounts, and progression opportunities within BRG.

Qualifications

• Dishes, utensils and equipment washing experience ideal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of basic health and safety standards

• Keep the Kitchen Spotless: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring work surfaces are clean and sanitary.
• Support the Team: Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, and help with organising and storing deliveries.
• Manage Waste: Properly dispose of waste and recycling, keeping the kitchen area tidy and free of hazards.
• Stock and Organize: Help with the organisation and restocking of ingredients and supplies, making sure the kitchen is always ready for service.
• Ensure Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone in the kitchen.
