Job summary

Dorset Square Hotel, part of Firmdale Hotels, seeks a Kitchen Porter to be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and providing essential support to the kitchen team. This role offers exposure to a vibrant culinary environment in a prestigious hotel setting.

You will maintain hygiene, assist with basic prep, organise storage, and work with chefs during busy service periods, with opportunities for learning, training, and progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations.
• Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary industry.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Our very first opening, and the hotel where Tim and Kit Kemp's vision for Firmdale Hotels began, Dorset Square Hotel occupies a handsome Regency building overlooking the garden square that was once the site of Thomas Lord's original cricket ground.
