Job summary

Caledonian Leisure Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our award-winning hotel group. You will keep kitchen surfaces clean, assist the chef with basic food preparation and help manage deliveries and stock during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen surfaces including counters, sinks, stoves and walls clean and sanitized.
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts.
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organized.
• Support the chef in basic food preparation.
• Remove kitchen waste from waste containers.
• Wash dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans and load dishes into the dishwasher.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen surfaces including counters, sinks, stoves and walls clean and sanitized.
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
• Supporting the chef in basic food preparation.
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers.
• Washing dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans and loading dishes into the dishwasher.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.
