Job summary

Ye Olde Windsor Castle in Little Bookham, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead a 50-cover kitchen in a busy, food-led pub. You will set high standards, manage a team, control stock and costs, and deliver great food across regular trade, wakes, buffets and functions; live-in accommodation is available.

Qualifications

Experience managing a kitchen in a busy pub or similar hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
Hands-on leadership and ability to coach a team.
Ability to plan for different types of trade and events.

Responsibilities

Lead the kitchen team, set clear expectations and maintain high standards.
Oversee quality, consistency and presentation of every dish.
Manage stock takes, ordering, rotation and wastage to control costs.
Plan and deliver service across regular pub trade, wakes, buffets and group bookings.
Collaborate with the General Manager to drive the food business.
