Job summary

The Thieves' Kitchen in Worthing, part of Greene King, is seeking a confident Head Chef to own the kitchen and develop a proud, high-performing team. You’ll lead service, drive food quality and presentation, and manage stock, ordering and food safety to maintain GP while delivering a standout dining offer.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub/restaurant.
• Demonstrates real pride in food quality and consistency.
• Understands the commercial side of running a kitchen including GP, labour and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team to a positive, motivated culture.
• Take ownership of food quality, consistency, presentation and standards.
• Manage kitchen operations from stock and ordering through to food safety and GP.
• Work with the General Manager to drive the food offer and deliver results.
• Bring energy and ideas to maximise our food offer during busy services.
