Merlin, part of Premium Country Pubs with a 12-room hotel attached, invites a Head Chef to lead a kitchen delivering premium, high‑standard dishes. You’ll inspire your team, develop menus, and manage ordering, stock, and hygiene to ensure guest satisfaction in a busy pub with an attached hotel.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience in premium pub/restaurant environment.
• Ability to manage costs and menus.

Responsibilities

• Drive targets with your team to boost sales and guest satisfaction.
• Kitchen management: ordering, prep and stock control.
• Work with a branded menu.

As Head Chef at the Merlin you'll lead the way in creating a kitchen to be proud of. You’ll be inspiring your team, instilling the passion that ensures all the food that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. Managing all areas of the kitchen, you’ll keep our guests coming back for more. This business is part of our Innkeepers Collection with a 12 rooms hotel attached, and therefore Management roles will support the hotel as part of the business.
