Job summary

Neighborly's DDR UK Dream Doors division is seeking a Driver & Operations Assistant to support the showroom and installation teams in Brackley. The role combines driving, warehouse duties and customer service to ensure a smooth kitchen transformation journey.

You will receive deliveries, assist with installations, manage stock, and help maintain a clean, safe working environment while delivering excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Previous similar experience advantageous.
• Basic DIY knowledge and confidence using hand tools.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office/CRM) and able to use standard software.
• Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record.
• Driving experience (ideally long wheelbase van).
• Excellent communication skills and customer service knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and be solution focused.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods against purchase orders, inspect for damage, report issues for reordering.
• Ensure accurate picking in line with survey specifications and packs.
• Load/unload materials and transport to customers' homes on install day.
• Collect and dispose of waste from completed installations.
• Assist with showroom duties and leafleting as required.
• Collect materials from wholesalers as needed.
• Assist fitter with fits (lifting worktops, preparing doors, hinges, handles).
• Liaise with customers in homes to support installation and ensure smooth journey.
• Maintain clean and tidy work area, post-installation cleanup, waste disposal.
• Carry out showroom/warehouse duties, stock checks and replenishment.
• Work as part of a small team across departments as needed.
