Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking friendly Kitchen Assistants to deliver great customer experiences in our restaurant areas. You will prepare and present food to spec, support kitchen duties and maintain high hygiene standards.

You should enjoy fast-paced work, be a team player, and have experience in food service. Knowledge of dietary requirements and health and safety is valued; food safety qualifications would be ideal.

• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented to a high standard and on time.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
