Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants. You will prepare and present meals to specification, support general kitchen duties and work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared on time and to a high standard.

We value passion for food, teamwork and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety and health & safety is desirable, with relevant qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Passion for food and delivering great customer experience.
• Team player and confident communicator.
• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented to a high standard and on time
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety
