Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking Kitchen Assistants to support our restaurants across our stores.

You will prepare and present food to specification, help with general kitchen duties and work closely with the kitchen team to serve meals on time. You will learn about dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety, bring a passion for food, be a team player and a confident communicator, and thrive in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented on time.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
• You are passionate about all things food and delivering a great customer experience.
• A team player with clear communication who is eager to learn.
• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Experience of working in food service and knowledge of health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.
