The Orchard in St Albans, part of Caring Homes Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily cooking and food preparation while upholding high hygiene and safety standards.

You will assist the chef, wash dishes, clean the kitchen, and help keep residents’ meals warm and appetising. Full training is provided, and you’ll join a friendly team dedicated to making each day feel like home.

• Previous kitchen/catering experience is a plus but not essential – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean, tidy and well-organised.

• Support the chef with cooking and baking tasks when required.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors and take out rubbish regularly.
