Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust in Marlow is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our caring catering team, preparing meals, snacks and drinks for residents and getting to know their likes and dislikes so mealtimes are a highlight.

No prior catering experience is required as training is provided; a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful. You’ll work with a warm team, upholding kitchen hygiene and quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful.
• Good communication and a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
• Help maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Engage with residents to tailor mealtime experiences.
• Work as part of the catering team to support residents daily.
