Job summary

Springcare Ltd is recruiting a kitchen team member to assist with preparation and service of meals across our residential and nursing homes. You will work under the head cook to ensure food prepared meets hygiene standards and resident dietary needs are respected.

The role emphasizes a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude with reliability and good communication to deliver high-quality care to residents. Training and support are provided, with a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure residents receive high quality service.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assist head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Keep the kitchen area and equipment clean to the standard for food hygiene.
• Under guidance of head cook, maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
• Be aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.
