Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Alton Place, Alton, Hampshire. You will help prepare nutritious meals and support dining services for residents with care and compassion.

You'll work to high hygiene standards, assist in basic kitchen duties, and contribute to a warm, home-like dining experience for residents and visitors. Alternate weekend shifts may be required.

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident’s breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
