The Hobson Cambridge is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter for Oz & Isle, its signature restaurant. The role focuses on dishwashing, basic prep, and maintaining kitchen hygiene to ensure smooth service in a busy environment.

Offering a competitive package with a £27,000 base salary plus monthly service charge, up to £30,000 including service charge, and 30 days annual leave, the position provides training and progression within the TFE Hotels portfolio and across its brands.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pot wash and dishwashing.
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Receiving and storing deliveries.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Completing cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks.
• Managing waste disposal and recycling.
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Supporting the wider team during busy service periods.
