Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a hands-on kitchen support team member for a 9am – 2pm, Monday to Thursday pattern. You will help with food preparation, keep the kitchen area clean, and assist with deliveries while serving customers and topping up vending services.

The role requires basic knife skills, time management, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A DBS or Enhanced security check may be required and the right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knife skills, food preparation skills, and time management abilities.
• Commercial kitchen experience is valued but not essential.
• A basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment, including cleaning utensils, tableware, and catering stations.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries and ensure food and supply storage areas are organised.
• Serve food items to customers in accordance with the menu prepared by the Chefs.
• Top up the vending services daily.
