Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation and service. You will help with peeling, chopping, salads, and sandwiches while maintaining a clean workstation throughout shifts from 08:30–13:30 or 09:30–14:30, Monday to Friday.

Ideal candidates may have basic catering qualifications and knife skills, with strong time-management and organisational abilities to handle busy periods and deliveries efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knife skills, food preparation skills and time management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay well organised.

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment, including cleaning utensils, tableware and catering stations.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries and organise food and supply storage areas.
• Serve food items to customers in accordance with the menu prepared by the Chefs.
• Top up the vending services daily.
