Job summary

SSP Group is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for Monty's Diner at Liverpool Airport. The role offers a fixed-term contract until the end of September 2026, with a base pay of £13.43 per hour plus an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing the rate to £14.63 per hour.

Opportunity to earn tips and service charges is noted. Shifts are flexible across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays, with possible 4-hour blocks to fit daily busy periods.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and a Criminal Record Check are required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older to perform certain shifts.
• Previous kitchen experience is required.
• Shift flexibility across weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurate cooking and presentation to spec.
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Keep workstation clean and organised.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT - MONTY'S DINER, LIVERPOOL AIRPORT

Fixed trm contracts until end of September 2026!

Pay Rate: £13.43 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £14.63 per hour.

Opportunity to earn extra tips and service charge*

Shift Pattern: Between 2 am and 10pm Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. (This times may be scheduled, this can include 4 hour shifts to accommodate daily busy period)

Contracts: Full-Time (24h a week)/Part-Time (8h a week) with overtime (depending on business needs)
