Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for Monty's Diner at Liverpool Airport. This fixed-term role runs until September 2026. Pay £13.43 per hour, with an extra £1.20 per hour for hours between midnight and 6 AM, bringing it to £14.63.

Full-Time 24h a week or Part-Time 8h a week with overtime. Training provided, uniform and equipment supplied. You will work across early mornings and evenings, with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and a Criminal Record Check required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or shifts.

• Accurate cooking and presentation to spec.
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Keep your workstation clean and organised.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT - MONTY'S DINER, LIVERPOOL AIRPORT

Fixed term contracts until end of September 2026!

Pay Rate: £13.43 per hour. + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £14.63 per hour.

Opportunity to earn extra tips and service charge

Shift Pattern: Between 2 am and 10 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. (This times may be scheduled, this can include 4 hour shifts to accommodate daily busy period)

Contracts: Full-Time (24h a week)/Part-Time (8h a week) with overtime (depending on business needs)
