Job summary

Willows Care Home in Romford is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly, modern kitchen team. You will support food preparation, maintain cleaning standards and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation to keep the kitchen running safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role offers a consistent routine and a supportive environment where you can develop your catering skills and contribute to high-quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
