Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support Chefs in daily kitchen operations within a care home. You will help maintain cleanliness and follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure smooth kitchen function.

You will contribute to catering for events at the home, participate in training, and have opportunities for progression within the company. The role emphasises teamwork and high-quality service at every meal.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures and COSHH/HACPP guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chefs with daily kitchen operations and meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with safety and hygiene standards.
