Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in our care home. You will help Chefs with daily tasks, keep the kitchen clean, and ensure all guidelines are followed for safe, high-quality meals.

The role offers training and development opportunities, with emphasis on teamwork and excellent service during meals and events. You will contribute to a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Assist Chefs with daily kitchen tasks to run smoothly.
• Follow company policies and COSHH and HACPP guidelines.
• Help cater for special events at the home, such as summer fayres.
