Job summary

Thomas Franks is a founder led, fresh food catering business delivering excellence and service in Bath. We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen and a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients.

This is a term-time contract with a 5 out of 7 shifts pattern and on-site parking. You will work closely with chefs, help with prep, and uphold high standards of hygiene and allergen controls.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen as Kitchen Assistant.
• Passion for fresh seasonal ingredients and ability to follow bespoke menus.
• Creative and keen to showcase your skillset.
• Strong teamworking and reliability.

Responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing food and a great service.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards.
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep.
