Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is hiring Kitchen Assistants to help deliver a high-quality dining experience across our restaurants. You will prepare and present food to menu specification, support kitchen duties and ensure meals are served to a high standard and on time.

As part of a busy kitchen, you will develop knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety. We value teamwork, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude as you contribute to our customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and delivering customer service.
• Strong team player and effective communicator in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food in line with menu specifications.
• Support general kitchen duties and work proactively.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented hot and on time.
• Learn about dietary requirements and health & safety practices.
