Job summary

At Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd, Kitchen Assistants play a pivotal role in delivering excellent customer experiences across our Restaurants. You will prepare and present food to spec, maintain hygiene standards and support the kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and timely.

We value passion for food, teamwork, and a proactive approach. You will gain skills in dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety within a busy environment that champions gardening and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, safety and hygiene.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented on time.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
