Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our restaurant team, helping deliver tasty meals, uphold food hygiene, and maintain high standards of service. You will work closely with the kitchen crew to present meals on time, learn about dietary requirements and health & safety, and contribute to a friendly, fast-paced environment that puts customers first.

Qualifications

• Passionate about food and delivering great customer experience.
• Team player and confident communicator eager to learn.
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented on time.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
