Job summary

Dobbies Kitchen Assistants support our restaurants by preparing and presenting meals to a high standard, while upholding food hygiene and safety standards. You’ll work as part of a team in a busy kitchen, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time for our customers.

The role suits someone who loves food, communicates well, and is eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Previous food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is essential.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and develop kitchen skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working with the kitchen team to ensure meals are served on time and to a high standard.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
