Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef - Gastro Pub Whinfell Forest | £12.87 per hour plus an average of £3.07 per hour in shared tips*

The Lakeside Inn serves family-friendly meals and drinks, from light lunches to roast dinners, in a warm, welcoming space. Serve up the flavour that turns a good break into a great one We're seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly Lakeside Inn team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and progress while supporting the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes. Full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to develop are key.

• Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and work effectively as part of a team
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene guidelines

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am to 11:30pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
