Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie for the Sports Café. You will oversee daily food preparation, lead and develop junior staff, and support the Assistant Kitchen Manager to ensure high standards and smooth kitchen operations.

The role requires attention to cost control, stock management, and waste reduction, with shifts from 8:00 to 23:30, a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period, and a competitive hourly rate of £15.05 plus tips.

Sports Café serves hearty meals and shows live sports in a lively, family-friendly setting. Serve up the flavour that turns a good break into a great one Join our Sports Caféteam as a Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You'll lead and develop junior staff, maintain standards and support management in driving efficiency.

What you'll be doing

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 11:30pm, varying between 4 to 8 hours in length
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hoursover a 4‑week period.
• You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
