Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Lauren Court Care Home in Chester. The role focuses on supporting the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen, with hands-on involvement in food preparation, stock organisation and deliveries.

Working closely with the Chef and team, you’ll help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, safely and efficiently while building experience in a supportive environment.

Job description

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

• 13.45- 13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
