Job summary

Select Health Care is part of the Hartford Care Group and is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at The Coach House Care Home in Wolverhampton. The role involves supporting the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain hygiene, and ensure dietary needs are met in a friendly residential setting.

Applicants should have Level 2 Food Hygiene (Level 3 desirable) and previous kitchen experience, with flexibility to work shifts.

About The Role

The role of a Kitchen Assistant at Select is to support the kitchen team in preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents. Duties include food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, following food hygiene and health and safety procedures, and helping to ensure residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met. The role also involves working as part of a team and maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming kitchen environment.

What We Need From You

Level 2 Food Hygiene is essential, level 3 would be desirable.
